Who can enroll?
Ms. Paddon started teaching piano in Toronto’s east end in 1988. After graduating from George Brown College as a piano technician, she went on to earn her ARCT in Piano Performance under the tutelage of Ms. Boyanna Toyich, internationally-renowned “teacher of teachers”. She also holds an Associate’s degree in human development from Ohlone College in Fremont California.
For twenty years she ran a busy piano studio in California called Musical Friends. Ms. Paddon was also the elementary and preschool music teacher at the Fremont location of Stratford School for several years. In addition to her focus on piano, she is fluent on several other stringed instruments including the hammered dulcimer and folk harp.
Ms. Paddon is a certified teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music and a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teacher’s Association. Several of her students have won centre, state, and national awards and medals.
